🎓 Northeast Full Tuition Scholarships (2026–2027)

Strategic Note: About 18 students per year chosen from the top 1–2% of the national freshman applicant pool — students with outstanding academic records, meaningful leadership roles in their schools, and a strong demonstrated record of community service who perform well in the mid-February on-campus finalist interviews and evaluations.

Strategic Note: Cohorts of 10 students each, selected from Posse Atlanta and Posse Bay Area. Posse looks for leadership potential, teamwork, and academic promise more than top test scores - many Scholars are first-generation college students. Self-nomination is not allowed; nominations come from high schools or community organizations in the partner cities.

Strategic Note: Out-of-state U.S. citizen freshmen with at least a 3.5 GPA and a 23 ACT or 1130 SAT who get their file complete early and enroll the fall after high school — these students often miss the Presidential cutoff but still hit DSU's strongest automatic out-of-state tier.

Strategic Note: Strong high school students — typically top 10% of their class — who submit a successful Honors application.

Strategic Note: One student per year from each of the 12 partner high schools — meaning 12 awards per incoming class. Selection favors students who have made the most of what their high school offers, show real promise in Fairfield's holistic review, and have meaningful financial need. Each partner school's counseling office plays a significant role in surfacing strong candidates.

Strategic Note: A very small group of Lafayette's top admits — students at the top of the class in the most demanding curriculum available, with standout grades, strong scores if submitted, and clear leadership or community impact.

Strategic Note: Top admitted students entering the College of Health with clear evidence of leadership, intellectual curiosity, and genuine commitment to improving human health — through research, community work, or lived experience.

Strategic Note: NJ juniors/seniors with on-time FAFSA; AGI ≤$65K free tuition, AGI $65–80K net $7,500.

Strategic Note: Students who scored high enough on the junior-year PSAT/NMSQT to reach National Merit Finalist status and who then designate NJIT as their first-choice institution with the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

Strategic Note: A small cohort of admitted US-resident first-year students each year with strong academics, demonstrated leadership, and a story that aligns with the Providence Opportunity Program's access mission.

Strategic Note: High-need New Jersey resident undergraduates whose financial aid profile demonstrates significant unmet need. The grant scales with the gap between other aid and tuition/fees, so eligibility and amount are individualized.

Strategic Note: A very small pool of GlamourGals volunteers, typically one or two students, with approximately 4.0 GPAs and exceptional service-based leadership records.

Strategic Note: High-achieving New York students who plan to live in the Regiment of Cadets and who proactively secure a nomination from their state senator, assembly member, or one of the leadership offices (Governor, Senate Majority Leader, Assembly Speaker). Each senator may nominate two students per district every four years; each assembly member nominates one; the Governor, Majority Leader, and Speaker each nominate five. Strong academics, leadership track record, and a clear commitment to maritime careers all help.

Strategic Note: A&S | Maxwell admits with elite academics, a clear record of service, and a strong showing in the interview round — Syracuse selects roughly 10–15 scholars per year from a deep applicant pool.

Strategic Note: Cohort of first-years from select neighborhoods; academic milestones and engagement tracked.

Strategic Note: Standout incoming Fall freshmen who walk in with a clear science or math story — strong high school STEM grades, real curiosity in their personal statement, and teachers who can speak specifically to their potential. The selection process is donor-funded and competitive, so a generic application won’t move the needle.

Strategic Note: A small group of Early Action admits with top GPAs, strong AP/IB rigor, leadership stories that come through in the interview, and a competition essay that feels like the student wrote it, not a template. Everyone who attends walks away with extra money; only a handful walk away with the full-tuition prize.

Strategic Note: A small number of the most academically prepared Massachusetts admits each year — students with rigorous course loads (AP/IB/honors), strong GPAs, and a complete academic story that stands out across the in-state applicant pool.

Strategic Note: Up to five Pennsylvania high-school seniors with genuine leadership records — think student-body leadership, community organizing, meaningful service, plus strong academics and intellectual curiosity. Interview readiness matters a lot at this tier.

Strategic Note: Students with documented Narragansett Indian ancestry, admitted full-time

Strategic Note: One Vermont resident student at each eligible high school — chosen by the school as the most academically talented member of the junior class. Selection criteria vary by school, but the profile is consistently the strongest transcript and course rigor in the graduating class.

Strategic Note: Exceptional students with outstanding, well-documented records of community leadership and service — especially work rooted in caring for communities whose needs are often overlooked. Academics need to be strong, but the deciding factor is a track record of contribution to the common good.

Strategic Note: Top academic admits accepted by May 1; entry GPA/test thresholds are not published; offers contingent on funding.
