📊 Admissions Snapshot
- Acceptance Rate: ~58%
- Middle 50% ACT: 31
- Middle 50% SAT: 1390
- Average GPA: 4.25
- Below the typical ranges: Treat Pitt as a reach. Focus on a strong course load, solid grades senior year, and apply early to give yourself a shot at both admission and merit consideration.
- In the typical ranges: This is a true match, but not a lock—especially for out-of-state students. Apply by the December 1 scholarship priority deadline and consider submitting test scores if they strengthen your profile.
- Well above the ranges: You’re competitive for top merit—but this is where families get tripped up. The biggest awards (like Chancellor’s or Stamps) are extremely selective, so treat them as bonuses, not guarantees.
