A seminar-based honors college with a full doctoral faculty and a senior thesis, at Louisiana public tuition, with $3,000 a year attached to the admission, is not a combination that exists in many places.
The work is smaller than it looks: get the ACT taken before April of junior year, get a complete file in early, file the FAFSA before May 1, and tell the scholarship office about everything your student did that a transcript does not show.
