🏆 Heisman High School Scholarship: For Athletes Who Lead Beyond the Field
← Back to the National Scholarships Hub
This isn’t a scholarship for star recruits — it’s for high school athletes who balance sports with leadership, service, and solid academics. If your student plays varsity and leads off the field, this is a low-barrier, high-impact opportunity.

👟 Who Actually Wins?
- Varsity athletes in non-recruit-level sports — think track, cross country, tennis, cheer, or volleyball
- Students with a GPA in the 3.2–3.9 range who also tutor, lead clubs, or volunteer
- Kids who are captains, peer mentors, or team-first leaders — even if they aren’t star players
- Applicants who frame their athletic involvement as part of a bigger service or leadership story
This isn’t about your kid’s stats — it’s about how they carry themselves and lift others up. That’s what stands out on the state and national level.
