How do the donor-funded scholarships work?
Individual donors fund scholarships with their own criteria, like major, class year, leadership, or financial need. Bryant matches students to them behind the scenes, with no public application. Like all Bryant aid, they cover tuition only, and a donor award can sometimes replace part of a need-based grant rather than add to it.

Can the need-based grant change from year to year?
Yes. Bryant recalculates it every year from the FAFSA. Returning students need to file by March 1. Merit stays fixed, so a raise at work can shrink the grant while the scholarship stays the same.

Who gets the Federal SEOG?
Students with exceptional financial need, starting with Pell Grant recipients who have the lowest Student Aid Index. Bryant says most of its Pell students also receive one. Honors Program at Bryant University

Bryant has an Honors Program, not a separate honors college. Students from any major can join. Most are invited when they’re admitted, so there’s usually nothing extra to fill out.
